Wildcats, you have heard about the importance of parking passes, but did you know without one, you could lose your right to drive to school entirely? According to Officer Priest, driving is a privilege, not a right. Parking passes serve as an indicator to staff which vehicles belong to students and prevent unauthorized cars from posing as a threat. Students must complete the Alive at 25 program to drive to school, and their first pass is free. Additional passes cost $25 and can be purchased in the front office. Officer Priest emphasized, “The main reason for parking passes is safety-to confirm what vehicle belongs to who and to make sure no vehicles are here that aren’t supposed to be.”
